Canadian Cerebellar Research Network Symposium

Organizer: Julie L Lefebvre

Date: May 20, 2025, Full Day

Location: SickKids Hospital

This satellite meeting will bring together researchers who are investigating the organization, function and disease vulnerabilities of the cerebellum. Our symposium will include talks by PIs and trainees from institutions across Canada. Topics will encompass the wide-ranging and emerging roles of the cerebellum in motor coordination, cognitive and social behaviours, and alterations in disease. Our goal is to showcase research spanning diverse questions, approaches and models (zebrafish, rodent and humans) by new and established cerebellar researchers from the Canadian neuroscience community. We will also welcome labs whose work on neurological diseases is revealing cerebellar pathogenesis and dysfunction. We are devoting significant time for trainee talks and breaks/meals to facilitate networking for both trainees and PIs in the cerebellum community.
