Note about additional registration charges and emails – May 11, 2026

We’ve only very recently been informed by Podium, our meeting organizers and managers, that due to a programming mistake, taxes were not included in the meeting registration fees they were collecting between January and May 11, 2026. We understand this may cause an inconvenience, and sincerely apologize for any trouble this might bring.

As a society doing business in Canada and Quebec, we are obliged to collect both GST and QST, which means there is a 15% tax amount that should have been added to the registration that was not included. Unfortunately we will need to remit these taxes moving forward, so our meeting organizers, Podium, sent updated registration fee invoices that reflect this change.

We are taking measures to ensure this does not happen again, and apologize for the inconvenience this causes in your situation.

Thank you for your understanding and support.

Cancellation Policy: All cancellations must be received in writing. The amount paid less a $75 (+tax) processing fee will be refunded for cancellations post-marked or faxed prior to May 14, 2026. Following this date, no refunds will be issued. To cancel your registration please send a written request via email to CAN@podiumconferences.com.
