Satellite 4: Speaking of Science: The Continued Role of Communication in Modern Neuroscience
Saturday, May 27th, 2 – 5 PM
As a follow-up to the success of last year’s satellite symposium on science communication, this event will feature a panel of speakers who represent some of the diverse roles of effective communication in modern neuroscience. The goal is to highlight a cross section of the relationship between neuroscience and communication, as well as to spark an interest in science communication roles among young researchers.
Each speaker will give a 30 minute presentation and the talks will be followed by a panel-style question and answer period. The panel discussion will generate conversation on specific topics that are of interest to the audience, but can include career trajectories for neuroscientists interested in communication.
