The CAN Social at the the Society for Neuroscience (SfN) meeting in Washington is coming up.   This year, join us at the kstreet lounge, 1301 K Street NW, Tuesday November 15, 5-7 PM.  The CAN Social is a great occasion to meet all your fellow Canadian Neuroscientists.   Mark your Calendars!

Call for parallel symposia: Would you like to organize a parallel symposium for the Canadian Neuroscience Meeting?  Please visit http://www.can-acn.org/callsymposia to read the guidelines and submit your proposal by November 25th, 2011.

The CAN Young Investigator Award recognizes outstanding research achievements by a young neuroscientist at the early stage of his or her career.  We are accepting nomination proposals for this award until March 15th 2012.  Please visit http://www.can-acn.org/young-investigator for more information.  Submissions should be sent to awards@can-acn.org
